We were attracted to Synapse because the teachers approach education in a way that supports a lifelong love of learning. Children here don’t just learn to memorize data, they are taught to understand concepts, make connections between ideas and facts, and use their knowledge in practical applications. In addition, in looking at other schools, we were worried about the lack of curriculum surrounding emotional intelligence. At Synapse, the focus on social and emotional development means that our child will graduate with real-world skills, such as teamwork and leadership.
We think Synapse works well for children who have an intense imaginativeness about the world. It is a great place for gifted children to not only have their curiosity encouraged, but to be given the educational tools to answer their own questions about the world.

Synapse is the perfect environment for a bright kid who likes hands-on instruction. The project-based curriculum invites the kids into a real learning adventure, and the helical model allows them to further deepen their understanding. My creative, passionate and curious son has the opportunity to truly explore and experiment with concepts, leaving school each day with a big smile and even more questions.

My wife and I value critical thinking and character development and see those as the natural outcome of a Synapse education.
